The visual field guide to Silk Road anime, manga & games

Silk Road Worlds

Where your favorite caravan cities, steppe warlords, and Persian courts actually come from.

You know the vibe — desert caravans, nomad cavalry, veiled courts, djinn-haunted ruins. This site tracks down where that vibe comes from, series by series, and tells you exactly how close (or far) each one gets to the real history of the Silk Roads.

Frequently asked questions

Before you explore or buy

Clear answers about official links, independent products, classroom use, newsletter privacy, and shop availability.

Are these products official anime, manga, or game merchandise?

No. Silk Road Worlds products are independent historical and creative tools. They are not licensed or endorsed by a publisher, broadcaster, developer, or studio.

Can I use the guides in a classroom or TTRPG campaign?

The guides are designed for personal study, classroom discussion, writing, and tabletop preparation. Each finished download will state its exact classroom, personal, and commercial-use licence.

What is the Silk Road?

The Silk Roads were many changing land and sea routes linking communities across Asia, Africa, and Europe. The term describes a network of trade, travel, diplomacy, migration, and cultural exchange rather than one road.

Do work pages link to pirated copies?

No. Official Links sections point to authorised publishers, broadcasters, streaming services, developer sites, stores, and established reference databases.

Can I buy the companion products now?

Not yet. Product previews are available, but prices and checkout will appear only when each map, guide, pattern pack, or toolkit is ready.

Are the historical accuracy grades reviews?

The A–C grade describes how closely a work draws on documented places, systems, and customs. It is not a score for whether the work is enjoyable.

Field note 01

“Silk Road” is not one road or one culture. It is a useful name for many routes, ports, borderlands, and encounters across centuries.
