Every Silk Road anime, manga & game we’ve mapped so far

Not every story with a desert or an “exotic” mood belongs here. We only include works that are clearly set in — or clearly drawing from — the Silk Roads, Central Asia, and West Asia, where the places, dynasties, religions, and trade routes trace back to something real, or are at least a deliberate borrowing. Stories that only borrow a desert look or a vaguely foreign atmosphere, with no identifiable Silk Road context, stay off this list for now.
